Empowering Educators with
Automated Grading Scale
OMRDesk is engineered to eliminate the manual friction of examination evaluations. By pairing computer vision with serverless infrastructure, we deliver grading precision at a fraction of standard cost.
Our Story
OMRDesk was founded by a dedicated group of computer vision engineers and academic educators who saw schools and coaching institutes struggling with slow, manual grading workflows and prohibitively expensive OMR sheet hardware.
We realized that custom OMR sheets don't require proprietary heavy machinery or expensive thick paper. By combining ordinary printed paper, modern mobile cameras or standard office scanners, and robust cloud algorithms, we could automate grading at scale.
Today, OMRDesk processes thousands of sheets daily across schools, tutoring centers, and universities, delivering instantaneous grade books and deep analytics reports to thousands of teachers.
Our Mission
To democratize advanced educational assessment analytics, making grading workflows seamless, instant, and accessible to schools and academies worldwide.
Our Vision
A world where educators are completely freed from tedious paperwork, allowing them to focus entirely on personalized teaching and student success.
Core Pillars of Excellence
Absolute Accuracy
We leverage advanced OpenCV perspective correction and bubble intensity analyses to achieve 99.9% scanning accuracy, flagging only the most ambiguous marks for human review.
Asynchronous Scale
Our Redis-backed task pipeline and dedicated Python processing nodes evaluate sheets in the background, easily scaling to process batches of 10,000+ uploads within minutes.
Educator Empowerment
We design every component—from the drag-and-drop OMR builder to student report cards—to be incredibly intuitive, ensuring teachers spend less time on software configurations.
Our Global Operations
OMRDesk is engineered by a remote-first international team with principal developer operations located in Mumbai, India, servicing academic institutes across Southeast Asia, North America, and beyond.
